Terms of Service
Last updated: March 18, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TraceRoot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including administrators, managers, and staff members within a dispensary organization.
2. Use of the Platform
TraceRoot is an inventory management platform intended for licensed cannabis businesses. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including cannabis licensing regulations in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share credentials, attempt to access another organization's data, reverse-engineer the platform, or use it in a way that could harm other users or the service.
3. Accounts and Access
Each dispensary is responsible for managing its own users and roles. Administrators have the ability to invite, modify, and remove users within their organization. You are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform in a way that affects other users or the integrity of the service.
4. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all inventory data, records, and content you enter into TraceRoot. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you.
5. Accuracy of Records
TraceRoot is a record-keeping tool. The accuracy of your inventory data is your responsibility. We do not verify the accuracy of quantities, batch numbers, supplier information, or any other data you enter. You are solely responsible for ensuring your records are compliant with applicable regulations.
6. Availability
We aim to keep TraceRoot available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside our control may result in temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TraceRoot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular regulatory compliance purpose. Use of the platform does not constitute legal or compliance advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraceRoot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to regulatory fines, lost revenue, or data loss.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform or emailing the address on file. Continued use of TraceRoot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
